I can’t get enough of these late 19th/early 20th century advertisements for all sorts of beer, wine and spirits. Poster advertising was very popular then as it is now and the liquor companies spent no expense in creating them. Often, these ads were done by the best poster artists of the time such as Leonetto Cappiello, Alphonse Mucha and others.jonas_art_photo.jpg

Being a marketing guy, I am naturally drawn to advertising. Being a mixoligist, I am endlessly fascinated by the history behind great liquor brands. Many of these brands are long forgotten and many like Campari, Martini & Rossi and Moet thrive today. Vintage liquor posters combine my love of advertising and history in a colorful celebration of the finer thing in life.

I agree! I’ve used this vintage artwork to decorate my kitchen and dining room. The original hand-drawn images in these posters is uncommon in our era of digital design.
