A Child’s Voice

My children have gravitated towards art to express themselves. This comes as a mystery to me as I have taken 40 years to accomplish this. My son, now 10, at age 3 was once furiously scribbling with chalk on our driveway. I asked him what he was drawing. He said, “This is how I feel when I am sad.”
